Scholarship Description
Aerospace Engineering Scholarship - Up to $1,000 will be awarded to students who are graduating high school seniors or
undergraduate and graduate students. These students should be Long Island residents planning to attend a Long Island postsecondary institution pursuing studies in Engineering,
Physical Science, or Applied Sciences pertinent to Aerospace. Selection is based on scholastic achievement, potential for
leadership and need. Number of awards and award amounts may vary.
Amount: Up to $1,000 • Deadline: March 15th of each year
Focus
KSASF Scholarship applicants should be pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related program including:
Engineering, Physical Science, or Applied Sciences pertinent to Aerospace, Aerospace Information Technology or related
field.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on academic history and extracurricular activities as well as letters of recommendation.
Funds
The winner will be notified following the deadline and the award will be sent directly to the recipients universtiy of choice
as noted in the application.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident living on Long Island and planning to attend a postsecondary institution on Long Island.
Must be enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college or university and planning on continuing the next year.
Must have a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed.
